Their 1-Page Job Proposal Platform is a selection tool changing the way people get hired and generating ROI through the largest online proposal platform in the world for enterprise customers.
Joanna has a proven executive management track record and is recognized as a leader in marketing and strategic partnerships across the consumer and technology sectors. Prior to launching One-Page, she was CEO of Performance Advertising. Splitting her time between Beijing and San Francisco, she has also developed and executed marketing strategies in the mobile and technology fields from e-commerce to social media in Asia, with keen knowledge in product execution and consumer buying.

Joanna Riley Weidenmiller (JRW): Joanna Riley Weidenmiller, Co-founder and CEO of The One-Page Company.
V: Where did you go to college and where do you live now?
JRW: I graduated from the University of Virginia. I currently live in Beijing and San Francisco.
V: What made you decide to pursue this path and start your own company?
JRW: I have been an entrepreneur since age four. Truth: When I was four, my best friend and I started a “snail annihilating business” and went door to door with bags of salt and were paid a quarter for each snail we killed.
V: How do you see The One Page Company evolving in the future?
JRW: The One-Page Company (1-page.com) makes branded communication tools for corporations and individuals to write effective proposals in a one page format. I see us helping to evolve the way people get hired and generating ROI through our 1-Page Job Proposal Platform, the largest online proposal platform in the world for enterprise customers.
V: Who are your inspirations?
- My Junior National rowing coach who taught me how to believe in myself.
- Anyone who says no.
- My husband, he taught me to be uncomfortable in a way that allows for continued growth. He taught me how to push comfort levels and challenge the world.
- My mother, who brought an entire industry into the city of San Francisco.
- My father, who taught me the value of seeing the world, learning from traveling the world, and doing the uncommon things.
V: What has been the most fulfilling aspect of being a female entrepreneur and change-maker?
JRW: Proving those who told me “no” wrong.
V: What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
JRW: When I was four, I changed my name to Fifi Solar System and I went by that name until I was ten.
