Vix Six: 6 Date Night Must Haves

Whether your date night consists of an evening out on the town or a romantic dinner for two the most important part is making sure that you have fun and enjoy yourself. Until some mystical potion is invented that can make you date-ready in minutes (hey, if you happen to know of this can you drop us a line?) women have to rely on beauty products to keep looking this fresh-faced. We put together a Vix Six list of our favorite items that help us to remain calm and confident on such special nights out. Now just need to figure out a cool way to ask, “Do I have any food in my teeth?”

1. Clarisonic

After Glee make-up artist Jennifer Greenberg informed me I had to get one, I am not kidding when I say that this magic wand has literally changed my whole facial regime and I swear I have noticed a difference since ‘sonicing.

2. YSL Touche Eclat

This could quite possibly be my desert island beauty product and as much as I hate to admit it…I feel odd when I don’t have it under my eyes, even at the gym. Use on any area you want to highlight, such as under your eyes (making sure to also dot on your brow bone), cheek bones, and I recently discovered that by out-lining your lips it not only works as a lip liner yet also makes them look bigger too. All it takes in one click!

3. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

I find that all of Laura Mercier’s base make-up products work wonders. My favorite though happens to be her Silk Creme Foundation.

4. NARS Multiple in Copacabana

So, maybe I have a bit of a highlighting problem…This is the perfect color to create a candlelight-like glow. Simply rub on check bones and voilà—your whole face will look more awake. It also makes collar bones pop and abs more defined too (beach party discovery…)

5. Blinc Mascara

This mascara coats each lash in tiny water-resistant tubes that literally will not smudge, flake or rub off and gives an ultimate natural look.

6. Hourglass Opaque Liquid Lipstick

This liquid lipstick applies like a gloss yet seriously sticks like a stain and will not smudge off if you happen to lock lips during your date.
