This week, Vixely celebrated our NYC launch and iPad Magazine Second Issue with champagne and our closest friends and supporters at PH-D Rooftop Lounge. Overlooking the city skyline, tables were furnished with goodies from Sir Richard’s Condoms and over 300 guests enjoyed champagne and strawberries for a truly joyous occasion. The Vixely team was thrilled to celebrate our contributors in attendance who have helped Vixely reach over 70,000 iPad downloads, including: Kate Kudish, Kristen Macfarlane, Christy McCuaig, Kate O’Connor, Callum McLaughlin, and Amanda Young Shortall. Vixely is also excited to share that Lauren Maillian Bias, serial entrepreneur and Founding Partner of Gen Y Capital, who was also in attendance, is now working with Vixely as an advisor, bringing her media industry expertise to the Vixely team. We are so happy to have Lauren on board (see below for picture)!

Vixely would like to thank Sir Richard’s for providing some amazing party favors, including 400 of their stunning gingham-wrapped condoms, “Do Not Disturb” door hangers, branded beach balls and more. Sir Richard’s is Vixely’s favorite brand of condoms as they are made with the finest ingredients (100% natural latex, chemical free and PETA certified) and for the company’s broader social purpose of encouraging a sexually healthy lifestyle, which is part of Vixely’s mission, as well. Proceeds from the event go to Sir Richard’s Condoms’ “Buy One, Give One” program, where for each condom we are able to purchase and donate in New York City, one will be donated to a developing country, as part of our effort to promote safe sex in our community and around the world.
Vixely would also like to thank Richard Thomas, Matt Strauss and Drew Sweeney at PH-D at the Dream Downtown for all of their hard work helping us host the event and ensuring our guests had a fantastic time.
