About Lara Glaister

Lara Glaister is the Director of Design and Co-Founder of Vixely. Post History of Art at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Lara joined the contemporary art world working at Paul Kasmin Gallery. Having an urge to channel her creative side, she went onto Parson’s School of Design to study Costume History and Fashion Illustration. Most recently, Lara served as the Creative Director for the online fashion website, What2WearWhere. Bred by Brits yet born and raised in NYC, she grew up with eccentric weekends in Millbrook, NY and summers visiting family in England and the South of France. Her outlets from city-life include philanthropy and dancing to live music, preferably wearing a feathered-headdress in a sari surrounded by palm trees.
