(Just the) Tip: Summer Fashion for the Fellows

You know the scene: it’s summer, you’re sitting on the beach, scoping out the battlefield…and you spot him through the hazy sea spray. You slide your sunglasses down the bridge of your nose to confirm this merman is not a mirage. He’s totally got potential…salty, sun-kissed hair, tan, ripped bod – I mean he’s a complete cliché?! He even has a surfboard perched perfectly under his arm. That tall glass of water is sauntering straight towards you, in fact he even raises his arm and YES, he appears to he waving at…you! You pretend to dust off that sand that “suddenly” appeared on your back and slyly peer over your shoulder. Hmm, no one is there. “Hey,” he calls. You reply with a casual retort, “Hey.” He walks over the dip from the surf and the theme song from Jaws starts playing your head…de-ne-de-ne-de-ne…and your summer stud turns into a Monet – a total mess. ARE THOSE TEVAS?!

‘Tis the season of the mandal, Jerusalem cruisers, or god-forbid the Croc!  Whatever you want to call them, the “male-sandal” can be a total deal-breaker. Lest we not forget as well the cargo short, the Speedo, the ribbed tank top (aka “wife-beater” – terrible term), all simple choices that can change a guy from stud to dud faster than you can say Michael Phelps! (He wears them…) Here are some summer fashion tips that will keep the beach babes saying, “Come sit next to me you fine fellow.”

1. Swimwear: FB Collection

Nothing screams hotty than the perfect pair of swim trunks. We are loving the London and Rio based styles from FB Collection. In (these) shorts we trust, the bright colors and Brazilian tailored style will keep you looking cool while you catch that wave. Make sure to check out their Panama hats, Linen Beach towels and their Frescobal beach bats – we can’t think of a better to pick up a partner than by requesting some assistance in a game on the beach…involving balls.

2. Footwear: Soludos

Don’t do the mandal and say yes to the perfect summer shoe – espadrilles by Soludos. Walk like a European in these breathable cotton and woven shoes that come in some seriously cool colors and prints. The Barca model is perfect for you prepsters or try out the Sevilla which has an edgier, more hipster vibe.

3. Shades: 4sight Sunglasses

The 4sight Sunglasses slogan says it all: “Look good. Do good.” For every pair of 4sight shades sold, a new pair of corrective glasses is given to a person in need. Nothing is hotter than sporting some classically cool shades and supporting a good cause as well. We love the look of their modern-take on the wayfarer with their Flat-Top style.

4. Summer Attire: Bonobos

For everything else check out Bonobos - they can totally deck out a dude for any event on their summer schedule from bbq’s, casual Friday’s and even weddings! They offer classic-styles with a twist, creating better-fitting male apparel.

Love this blog, love this post, and I love the title. I’m stoked to see 4sight included here… even more stoked to see that helping people in need (as well as rocking sweet sunglasses) is officially sexy.

Check them out on facebook (www.facebook.com/4sightSunglasses) and twitter (www.twitter.com/give4sight) too!

Hiya, I am really glad I have found this information. Nowadays bloggers publish only about gossips and web and this is actually irritating. A good blog with interesting content, that is what I need. Thank you for keeping this web-site, I’ll be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can not find it.
